We love our school and we're proud of our achievements. We hope you enjoy our website and find it useful whether you're a first time visitor or already part of our community. Situated in North Dorset, the village of Durweston is close by the River Stour at the foot of the Blackmore Vale near to Blandford Forum.Durweston Primary School is nestled between the Church of St Nicholas and the open playing fields next to the Durweston Village Hall built in 2003.
In 2008 we opened our new enlarged school buildings and continue to grow and develop. Our children are polite and friendly with a burning motivation to succeed. Shroving, Welly Walks, Singing, Sport, Art, Drama, Dance and Music, Computers and iPads.
